Policy plan - Summary

Introduction

Foundation Cycling 4 Climate is run by cycling and sustainability enthusiasts Sebastian Ferfers, Samuel Beltman and Joost Brinkman. The Foundation is a spin-off of citizen initiative Utrecht Klimaatneutraal 2030, aiming to raise awareness and action on climate change through cycling events.

Mission and vision 

The climate is changing. Cycling 4 Climate is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to CSR as an employee at a company, get fit and raise money for a sustainable future. It is a chance to be part of the most unique sustainability event of the year. And of a growing movement for a sustainable world.

Activities of our organization

Cycling 4 Climate was created with the goal of organizing fun cycling events that connect people to sustainability. We have 2 main goals:

• Raise awareness of climate change, what role we play in it and what we can do to make a positive impact.
• Fundraising to support sustainable causes and projects. Projects are chosen by an independent jury and distributed to different projects depending on the money raised.

The Cycling 4 Climate Foundation is supported entirely by volunteers. Neither the board nor volunteers are paid.
