The Climate Stripes, which visually displays the average temperature of the past 150 years, makes it clear in one fell swoop: The last 20 years were the warmest ever recorded. Because we want to deliver this message together, during the Climate Classic we are all cycling in the Climate Stripes cycling shirt. The shirt is largely made of recycled materials.
The clothing set (shirt + socks) can be added during the registration process for €60 pp. The shirt is your proof of participation, without it you have no access to the care stations. The clothing will be ready for you at the starting location in De Bilt or Breda. In Breda you can pick it up the evening before at hotel Princeville (Van der Valk) between 17:00 - 18:00 hrs.

Climate Stripes Shirt
The Climate Stripes cycling shirt is made by Velor, a young sustainable company whose mission is to make the cycling apparel industry more sustainable. And we want that too!

The short-sleeved shirt from the Pure line is made of high-quality, innovative Italian fabrics. These are made from 95% recycled material. As a result, the material has 50% lower carbon footprint compared to other shirts. The fabric is very comfortable, breathable, and has an excellent fit.
Practicality has also been considered: on the back you will find three regular pockets, plus an additional zippered pocket to protect your valuables.
In addition, zipper guards-so-called zipper pockets-ensure that the zippers don't irritate your skin. And you know the great thing about the zippers? They too are made from recycled materials!
The fabrics are certified to GRS, BLUESIGN®, OEKO-TEX® and ISO 14001 standards, ensuring sustainable production and full traceability throughout the value chain.
Velor is a Dutch cycling apparel brand from brothers Florian and Mickaël Jardin, Peter Roozemond, and former pro cyclist Tom Leezer. Velor's mission is to change the cycling apparel industry by developing truly sustainable cycling apparel.

Climate Stripes Cycling Pants
The cycling pants from the Pure line are made of high-quality, innovative Italian fabrics. The pants and suspenders consist of 92% post-consumer recycled materials. The fabrics are elastic and breathable. Everything to make sure you have a nice and comfortable ride; at least from a clothing perspective, because steep mountains we can't flatten!
A high-end chamois was chosen so that it remains comfortable even on very long rides. Unfortunately, it is not yet made from recycled materials. In fact, Velor has not yet succeeded in making a top chamois from recycled fabrics.
Of course, the cycling shorts use a different chamois for women and men, but the sizing is the same. Check out the size chart below.
