Privacy & cookie policy

This is the privacy and cookie statement of Stichting Cycling 4 Climate, located at 3572 VP, Utrecht at Bollenhofsestraat 78 (hereinafter: Cycling 4 Climate).

Applicability

This privacy statement applies to all privacy sensitive information or personal data provided to us, for example through the contact form or agreements concluded with us. We attach great importance to the privacy of our customers and therefore take the greatest possible care in handling and protecting personal data. We process data in accordance with the conditions set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). Cycling 4 Climate is the data controller under the AVG with respect to the processing of personal data. This means that only we determine which personal data are processed, for what purpose and in which way. We are responsible that personal data are processed in a proper and careful manner in accordance with the AVG. In this privacy statement, we explain what data we process and for what purposes they are used.

Purpose and bases of processing personal data

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • Execution of an agreement
  • Handling a payment
  • Sending our newsletter
  • To be able to call or email as needed to perform our services
  • To be informed of changes to our services
  • Offer to create an account

We retain personal data no longer than is strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which data is collected.

Provision to third parties

We will only share personal data with third parties if this is necessary for the purposes mentioned above. Provision to third parties may be necessary for the performance of the agreement we have entered into, necessary to pursue a legitimate interest of ours, or necessary to comply with any legal obligation incumbent upon us. With companies that process data on our behalf, we conclude a processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of the data. We remain responsible for these processing operations. Other than the foregoing situations, we only provide personal data to other third parties with express permission.

Commercial purposes

We may use personal data for commercial purposes. For example, to provide further information about our services, relevant information from carefully selected organizations. Informing will only take place via the registered e-mail address. If no information is desired about relevant products or services, this is easily indicated by clicking "unsubscribe" in the received email.

Data is not sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes unless explicitly authorized.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a computer, tablet or smartphone the first time you visit this website. Opting out of these cookies is possible by setting your Internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, all information previously stored can also be deleted via your browser settings.

Cookies from Google, as part of the "Analytics" service. From this, reports are obtained about the quality and effectiveness of the website. We use Google Analytics in the manner prescribed by the Personal Data Authority. As a result, no prior consent is required for use.

Necessary for the technical operation of the website and ease of use. These cookies do not invade privacy requiring prior consent.

View, correct or delete personal data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data. You have the right to data transferability ('data portability') if we have digital personal data that we either process with your consent or process to execute an agreement we have with you.

That means you can make a request to us to send the digital personal data we hold in a readable computer file to you or another person.

You may send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of personal data or request for withdrawal of consent or objection to the processing of personal data to: info@cycling4climate.nl.

To make sure that the request for inspection is correct, we ask that you send a copy of proof of identity. In this copy, black out the passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect privacy. We will respond to the request as soon as possible, no later than four weeks. 

We also disclose the possibility of filing a complaint with the national regulator, the Personal Data Authority.
